In the name of the Father, in the name of the Son there is everlasting peace!
John 5:43-47 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
Daniel 11:36-39 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.
The anti christ will be so charismatic that even the some of the elect will believe his lies and deception. He will be the complete opposite of the God of Scripture. He will only love himself and have no compassion or empathy for the poor or the marginalized of the world. He will come in his own pride and abilities. The world will receive him. He will bring about a peace treaty and in the end their desire for materialism, power and control will destroy them.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The Body of Christ is insulated from the tribulation. The end time events will be dealings with the nation of Israel. God’s chosen will suffer so much for their rejection of their King, Jesus Christ how great the suffering will be. The day of the Lord and the signing of the peace treaty will come but woo to those who will liven through it.
The anti-christ in scripture has been called”
Prince
Beast
Son of perdition
The wicked one
The false prophet will enable the anti-christ to carry out satan’s plans to kill, steal and destroy God’s chosen. Without God restricting the number of days there would be none left. Holy Spirit withholds the evil until the day of the Lord is determined by the Father. Holy Spirit in us compels us to speak the truth of Chrsit and to carry out God’s empathy and love for all of His creation. (John 3:16-18) greater is He in us than he that seeks to destroy our faith. Christ in us is our hope and our strength. The Lord of lords and the King of kings, Jesus Christ, will destroy the anti-christ with His return. Carla
In his own name alludes to Israel’s tendency to accept false prophets who tell them what they want to hear (Jeremiah 14:14; 29:25, 31). Faithlife Study Bible
Jesus came in the Father’s name, revealing God to the people, but they rejected Him. Ironically, if someone had come in his own name, giving his own ideas in harmony with the people’s ideas, the people would have received him. The people did not believe in Jesus because they did not seek honor that comes from the only God. This honor may be similar to Paul’s view of the glory that will be revealed in us in the presence of God (Romans 8:18). Trust means “hope.” Christ will not have to accuse the people on Judgment Day because the one in whom they placed their hope, Moses, will. The people will be condemned by the very Law they professed to keep. Moses wrote about Christ in the promises to the patriarchs, in the history of the deliverance from Egypt, in the symbolic institutions of the Law, and in the prediction of a Prophet like himself (Luke 24:25, 26). If the people had believed Moses, they would have received Jesus gladly. Over three hundred OT prophecies were specifically fulfilled in the First Coming of Christ. The ultimate problem was that the people did not believe the Word of God written through Moses. The NKJV Study Bible
Luke 16:29–31 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’…
Romans 2:17–29 Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law…
Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
John 9:28–29 Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples. We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.”
Embraced by the unconditional love for our self, a love that heals and nurtures every aspect of our being.
And here's the deal: This is not just about self-esteem, as if there's some club to join with a secret instruction manual. As if there is something else we need to add to our life to make it successful, or meaningful, or palatable. It's much more fundamental: Am I willing to be loved for being this me? Sabbath Moments
…in His greatest act of healing love, He came to earth as Jesus and said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). His desire is to lift our burdens, renew our hearts, and make us whole in a thriving relationship with Him. God doesn't want halfhearted apologies or empty gestures. He wants each of us and all of us. We can come home. When we do, we'll find our Father waiting to welcome us back, as He has countless times, with arms open wide (Luke 15:20-24).
Friend, God's love is still here, still inviting and drawing you near. No matter how far you've strayed or how weak you feel, you can call upon Him. You don't have to stay stuck or wait for another moment. Go to Him now. Let Him renew, restore and rewrite your story. First5
