Jonah 2:1-2

In the depths of our despair……God is. He is always near to those who call on Him. 

To all who ask He answers.. 

To all who knock He opens the door.

To all who seek He will be found.

Jonah, even though he was disobedient, was a true believer in God. God hears our cries for help.

Jonah 2:1-2

Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly. ² And he said:

“I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction,

And He answered me.

“Out of the belly of Sheol I cried,

And You heard my voice.

¹ In my distress I cried to the Lord, And He heard me.
