Jesus is the Light of the world

Your words and actions reveal your true self! Everything you do, good or bad, will be revealed to you because God knows your heart and He loves you too much to let you die in your sin. He wants others to know you are a true follower of Christ by the love that you extend to all men in His name. Although the world will always try to extinguish the truth you need to stand in your faith and let your light so shine before men that they are drawn to the source of your hope, Christ within you. There is our way and then there is God’s.....and while the Holy Spirit, the very heart of the Father,  is still in the world His way will always be the way of peace, mercy and lovingkindness!

¹² Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

²⁸ Then Jesus said to them,  “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. ²⁹ And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” ³⁰ As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.

In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. ² For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. ³ Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

²⁷ So he answered and said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” 
²⁸ And He said to him,  “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
