God calls whom He wishes and they come.....it seems simplistic but it is what it is! Some from a very early age believe, never doubting, knowing from the beginning that He is and that they are His. To whom much faith is given, much is expected, help us to know Your will and to do it.
Jesus had a large group of followers. Even after the Twelve were appointed, He still had a large and continual following. Spiritual kinship is determined not by blood or race but by obedience to God.
Mark 3:13
13 And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
