Proverbs 10:16

We honor the Father when we use what He has given to us, our talents and wages, for our good and to provide for those in need. Squandering His gifts on the evil pleasures of this world has its price.

These verses present the doctrine of the two ways: the righteous is on the way of life, but the wicked wander from it. The phrase wages of the wicked is similar to Paul’s expression in Rom. 6:23: “the wages of sin is death.”
